Lady Gaga explains in an interview the symbolic meaning behind the mermaid: "Sometimes in love, you can't make it work," she continued about that particular scene. "No matter what you do, there's this giant boundary between you and someone else. So that's what it's about, perceiving in your imagination that there's something magical inside of you that you can make it work."

The character JO CALDERONE, played by Gaga is her real-life former love - Gaga goes on to say "For me, it was all about capturing the true spirit of the song, which is when you're in love, you'll be willing to walk and do the craziest and most inconvenient things you can possibly imagine," she added. "The video is quite complex in the way that the story is told, and it's meant to be slightly linear and slightly twisted and confusing, which is the way that love is."

Gaga is my inspiration <3 - PAW'S UP for the fashions in this video! Absolutely stunning.

A little Piece of Movie History... Marilyn Monroe:

The infamous ivory dress that the screen icon wore in the famous subway scene for the movie The Seven Year Itch was sold at an auction for a whopping $4.6 million! The iconic dress was auctioned off in Beverly Hills this weekend. The buyer had to pay $1 million in fees making the dress a grand total of $5.6 million!

So who would sell off this piece of movie history?!? The William Travilla - designed pleated halter dress was put up for sale by Hollywood legend, Debbie Reynolds. The 79 year-old starlet is an avid collector of
actress and movie memorabilia.

Other pieces sold at auction including Monroe's red Gentlemen Prefer Blondes dress, which sold for $1.2 million; Audrey Hepburn's My Fair Lady Ascot dress, which raked in $3.7 million; and Judy Garland's blue Wizard of Oz dress used in test shots sold for $910,000.

Photo Shoot: GLAMOROUS IN GLITTER & A CANDY WONDER LAND!

I wanted to photograph my good friend Ashley (I call her Ash) showcasing her personality. She loves anything to do with glitter... So why not throw her in a bathtub full of golden glitter with a festive bikini?!?! FABULOUS!

Ash is wearing : Victorias Secret Bikini.

For the next shot, we came up with this idea of Ash in a whimsical "Candy Wonder Land." This photograph shows off Ashley's "sweet" & bubbly personality.
