Queen of pop, Britney Spears opened up the 2016 Billboard Music Awards and it was literally everything. Britney has so many hits, and  she packed seven of them into her performance.

From the dancers, to the outfit change, to the Crossroads nostalgia this will literally go down in BBMAs history. Actually, this will go down in regular history, like you’ll learn about this in school one day.

Before Britney took the stage she was give the Millennium Award and then proved to us exactly why she deserves it.

In an all red outfit, Britney comes down from her throne to a stage full of dancers and proves she knows how to work. Britney originated the word “work,” and then continued to show us that she still owns the word “work.” Also quitting my job so I can spend every day watching Britney in Vegas. Thought you'd never see them back together?... One of the saddest splits in Hollywood are to REUNITE!... 

Book your flights to Vegas now, because things are about to get absolutely insane at Britney’s residency shows. Fifteen years after their intense, highly publicized split, Britney and Justin might be reuniting on the stage for the performance of a lifetime, reports InTouch Weekly‘s May 2 issue. Can you even imagine?

“Britney called Justin out of the blue and said she wanted him to come to Vegas and do a series of concerts with her,” a source close to the singer claims in the report. The source explains that Justin was totally “shocked” when he got the call.

“At first he laughed it off, but he was definitely intrigued,” the source explains. However, the source made sure to explain that Justin has “no animosity” towards Britney, despite their nasty split in 2002 after she allegedly cheated on him.

That is so great to hear, and their fans would totally freak out if the two of them reunited — especially on stage!

If Justin ends up joining Britney even for just one show, it could be the final push he needs to get back into music ASAP. “Justin misses performing on a regular basis,” a source told the magazine, which is understandable. Justin hasn’t released an album since 2013, even though he is working on music-related projects like curating the soundtrack to his upcoming animated movie, Trolls.

Fingers crossed for a Justin and Britney reunion, as well as some new music from both of them!

Katy Perry showed up to Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards wearing a denim dress made by Versace Couture; she was channeling Spears' iconic look from the 28th Annual American Music Awards in 2001. (Also made by Versace Couture). Perry even recruited rapper Riff Raff to emulate singer Justin Timberlake, Spears' boyfriend at the time.
Both are a smash hit! Any tribute towards BritBrit is a good one!

Britney Spears - Planet Hollywood

Britney Spears returns to rock Planet Hollywood’s Axis Theater soon, performing on August 16, 19, 23, 27 and 30-31, plus the new September dates. In the electrifying, high energy show, Brit shows off her toned physique and many flashy, over-the-top costumes, as expected from the pop diva.... 

The stage worn costumes were designed by talented costume designer, Marco Marco and are maintained by Tisha Yates. Yates previously worked with Spears on her Circus Tour in 2009 and now serves as her head of wardrobe on-site with miss Spears on tour.

     Marco Marco worked with Spears on the costume design process and making her visions come to life before the show’s debut in December. The process was long and very thought out, as there are seven acts with four looks each!!! WOW!... Here are some show-stoppers we loved all day, every day!...

You better work B*tch!

Naturally, Spears has to make a splashy, sparkly entrance for her Vegas residency. One way to do that? Wear a recreation of the most scandalous, talked-about outfit of her whole career. The sheer, flesh-colored bodysuit dotted with crystals is reminiscent of both Spears’ infamous 2000 MTV Video Music Awards performance outfit, as well as her “Toxic” music video. It’s a stunner—but she doesn’t wear it while performing “Toxic” in the show, saving it instead for the “Work Bitch” opener, “Womanizer” and “3”.
“This is your signature Britney Spears costume,” says Yates. “A nude fabric with rhinestones. There are two versions she alternates between: a body suit and a crop top.”

I’m like the ringleader, I call the shots

Yates revealed that Spears’ personal favorite show costume is indeed the one with the biggest wow factor. The circus ringmaster-style corset features black and white stripes, a tiny ruffled skirt and chain metal straps. Up close, it’s intricacy is jaw-dropping, with thousands of different colors of hand-placed Swarovski crystals. “This is a custom piece and one-of-a-kind,” Yates says. “It’s very hard to make, especially with the fading detail of the stones.”

Keep on dancing ‘til the world ends

While singing her last act of “Toxic,” “(You Drive Me) Crazy,” “Stronger” and “Til The World Ends,” Spears dons a black corset leotard nearly covered in gold, black, clear and red crystals. The ultra-sexy costume matches well with the high energy of these crowd favorites.

Dangerous in Denim...

This dangerous denim get up is a custom made piece desighned by none other than, D'Squared. These jeans PC adorns were originally made for Britney Spears for her "Dream Within A Dream" world tour back in 2001-2002. Even more so I think it's quite fantastic I can get myself into a pair of custom made pants for Brit. ;-)

Here's a little history on the background of these stunners, 

The encore in which these are worn began with a giant projection of a hologram of Spears onto a water screen. The projection gradually shrunk until Spears rose from the stage while wearing a plastic cowboy hat, blue hip-huggers, and a matching bra top. Which I also own in addition to these jeans. 

She began performing "...Baby One More Time" in a ballad version until reaching the end of the runway. Pyrotechnics surrounded the stage while the song changed to a more uptempo version with elements of techno. Her dancers took the main stage while she returned to it running through the runway. They jumped on the barge while it was lifted into the air and continued to dance. At the end, Spears jumped off the barge with the bungee cords and landed in the main stage and descended from it.

Britney Spears attended Elton John's AIDS Foundation Oscar party, and we almost didn't recognize the pop princess!...

Britney Spears showed off her new brunette hairdo looking oh so 'toxic' when she attended Elton John's AIDS Foundation Oscar viewing party in LA. Elton John's bash was the only Oscars-related party that Britney attended,  With a plunging neckline and a sparkle in here eye, Britney walked the red carpet in the most fabulous sequined Michael Cinco Couture dress & YSL pumps. This is the BEST we've seen Britney in a LONG time! Fashions and all!... Brit looks absolutely STUNNING!

Britney & her team have recently announced Brits much anticipated release of THE ONYX HOTEL Tour Live From Miami on DVD! Set to drop stores THIS JANUARY!...

Britney's highly energetic & jaw dropping Onyx Hotel Tour back in 2004 was mostly inspired by Broadway musicals, focusing on Grand Hotel, which was directed by Tommy Tune and portrayed a day in the life of the Berlin Grand Hotel in 1928. Spears said the hotel theme was inspired by having traveled so much, and was merged with the onyx stone concept. The tour was described as a "unique, mysterious hotel powered by an onyx stone, where guests who enter shine their own light into the gemstone and make their fantasies come to life. It's a vibrant, whimsical place where wondrous dreams are realized, and the darkest of secrets are revealed".

~Random Fact: Onyx Hotel Tour was originally going to be called In the Zone Tour. On February 17, 2004, a San Diego clothing manufacturer of the same name sued Spears for $10 million & banned her from using the trademark.

The X Factor judge looks hotter than a freshly baked Louisiana pie! Adorning the cover of Elle‘s October issue in a fierce Versace ensemble.

In her dazzling spread, Britney poses lovingly alongside fiance Jason Trawick and even prances around her home, in front of the microphone in fabulous rhinestone-encrusted panties by, The Blonds.

Even though we love Brir Brit looking all prim & proper, getting dressed up to leave the house just isn’t her style...

Britney told ELLE: “I love my jeans and my sweats-I’m really just a tomboy at heart. So it’s really hard for me to be like Kim Kardashian and be makeup-and hair-ready every time I go out of my house. I’m not a believer in that, you know? On the other hand, when you do wear those sweats, you’re like, Oh God, I should step it up a notch.”

I purchased this amazing Britney Spears stage warn costume during an online charity auction benefiting the ‘Britney Spears Foundation.’ A musically inspired based camp for underprivileged children. The costume made especially for Britney’s “Dream Within A Dream” world tour is a pure masterpiece! The custom costume was Designed by fashion duo, D’Squared! The garment is a sexy & edgy ensemble which was worn while performing the grand finally song, “…Baby One More Time” . This masterpiece consist of - Acid washed jeans with plastic (almost like rain coat material) & golden leather detailing gives Brit a chance to show off her utterly amazing body. With a matching denim halter top (leaving the midriff exposed). The denim getup adorned fabulous intricate blue, periwinkle, & lavender-purple tone sequins. Topping the look off with a clear cowboy hat adorned with gold detailing. Stunning aquatic looking custom made Diesel kicks completes this dramatic & proactive costume. The D’Squared creation was a stunner for the closer of the show. In the performance Britney came out onto the stage while rain pored from the ceiling of the stadium, onto Britney and the rest of the stage. Dramatic and festive pyrotechnics, stage flying, and intense dance moves completely matched this crazy amazing stage costume.

FROM THE STAGE TO MY CLOSET...

My friend Kathy is wearing: A custom made costume that was made for Britney Spears by the designers of D’squared, which she worn on her world tour called “Dream Within a Dream” in 2001-2002”. This was the grand finally outfit which she sang “…Baby one more time.” I was fortunate enough to purchase this costume during the online auction on GOTTAHAVEIT.COM. The auction featured some of Britney’s Stage worn Costumes and an extensive array of Never-Before-Seen Collectibles, all the proceeds went to benefit The Britney Spears Children’s Foundation, back in 2003.
