LAUREN MOFFATT FALL 2012

As arriving to Lauren Moffatt's presentation to photograph for FutureClaw Magazine I noticed the presentation was being held in a local abandoned school. When I realized the location I was so excited to see how it would turn out. when walking up the school steps there was a sign that read "Art & Classroom" with arrows leading the guest where to go. This easily was the most inventive and creative showing of fashion week for fall 2012 in New York.  Models were arranged in two rooms, one set in a art studio and another set in a typical classroom. Known for her prints, Moffatt shows off with this collection a "schoolgirl charm" with feminine silhouettes, while keeping with a vintage vibe through a classic color palette. All the garments worked perfect with this amazing abandon school, how cool?!... Look out for Lauren Moffatt this fall! LOVE!

Costello Tagliapietra Fall 2012

When First arriving to the Costello Tagliapietra's fashion show, (while I was covering the photography for FutureClaw Magazine.)  I felt a strong excitement & anticipation from the guest in the room, I started noticing some familiar faces too - I exchanged a fast but delightful "hello you look amazing as always!" with model & host of Top ChefPadma Lakshmi - replying with a humble response  "Aw how sweet, thank you so much." also a quick "Hi I'm a huge fan!" to Angela Simmons of MTV's show Run's House, Replying back with enthusiasm "Thanks!" As the show started winding closer I began to set my camera in place and getting situated. A packed filled room of excited viewers and predominate fashionistas took there seats as the lights dimmed, the show starts. As I'm clicking away I notice thew my camera lens these dante and whimsical cocktail dress coming down the runway, the prints and vibrant colors instantly capture my attention. As the show goes on we see gorgeous and delicate gowns with mute pastel like colors making the gowns "less girlie" and more  sophisticated. I started noticing that a lot of the garments were reminiscence of togas, like the infamous trademark wrap dresses they are know for.  A refreshing autumn like color pallet of burnt orange, ochre, and slate blues was a recurring theme threw out the show.  This whole collection is completely wearable from the cocktail dresses to evening gowns! Perfection! Who would think two rugged looking men like Robert Tagliapietra and Jeffrey Castello would crate such a delicate collection. LOVE!
