BRITNEY SPEARS: THE ONYX HOTEL TOUR LIVE FROM MIAMI

BREAKING BRITNEY NEWS!
Britney & her team have recently announced Brits much anticipated release of THE ONYX HOTEL Tour Live From Miami on DVD! Set to drop stores THIS JANUARY!...

Britney's highly energetic & jaw dropping Onyx Hotel Tour back in 2004 was mostly inspired by Broadway musicals, focusing on Grand Hotel, which was directed by Tommy Tune and portrayed a day in the life of the Berlin Grand Hotel in 1928. Spears said the hotel theme was inspired by having traveled so much, and was merged with the onyx stone concept. The tour was described as a "unique, mysterious hotel powered by an onyx stone, where guests who enter shine their own light into the gemstone and make their fantasies come to life. It's a vibrant, whimsical place where wondrous dreams are realized, and the darkest of secrets are revealed".
Can't wait till January?!... Watch the FULL concert HERE:

~Random Fact: Onyx Hotel Tour was originally going to be called In the Zone Tour. On February 17, 2004, a San Diego clothing manufacturer of the same name sued Spears for $10 million & banned her from using the trademark.

BRITNEY SPEARS ELLE OCTOBER 2012 ISSUE

Pop DivaBritney Spears returns to the cover of American Elle with a stunning cover shoot by photographer Alexi Lubomirski.

It’s Britney bitch! And she looks FAB-U-LOUS!
The X Factor judge looks hotter than a freshly baked Louisiana pie! Adorning the cover of Elle‘s October issue in a fierce Versace ensemble.
In her dazzling spread, Britney poses lovingly alongside fiance Jason Trawick and even prances around her home, in front of the microphone in fabulous rhinestone-encrusted panties by, The Blonds.
Even though we love Brir Brit looking all prim & proper, getting dressed up to leave the house just isn’t her style...
Britney told ELLE: “I love my jeans and my sweats-I’m really just a tomboy at heart. So it’s really hard for me to be like Kim Kardashian and be makeup-and hair-ready every time I go out of my house. I’m not a believer in that, you know? On the other hand, when you do wear those sweats, you’re like, Oh God, I should step it up a notch.”
That's the Brit we all LOVE!... We all love the Louisiana bell for that, I mean, Don't we?!...The cheedos in hand, sweats, Uggs & a trucker hat get up that Britney seems to pull off in a strange way making it her own staple look at times. If there's someone that could pull that look off and get away with it, IT's BRIT!

Classy & Classic in Black & White...

Channeling the 1960's this S/S 2013 Marc Jacobs ensemble is rite on when taking your classic black & white head-to-toe look to the next level...

The chic polished look is remnant of 60's fashion, this put together look is perfect for that uptown girl that want's to jazz her look up with that "MOD" look. With a more modern approach, the stripped sequins complement the sleek pencil skirt quite lovely, the balance of the two patterns complement each other, giving this look the perfect twist to your classic black & white ensemble. The chine of the sequins gives a glamorous touch and adds another element of interest to the look. This Marc Jacobs getup is perfect for this fall season when look to stick to your black and whites, with out looking oh so bleak! Mix patterns & different textures of fabrics to add an element of interest to your look. This fabulous outfit works for the fact that the patterns don't clash but complement each other being done in an interesting and fun way, without overdoing it.

“I Love Lucy” - 60th Anniversary!

It's the 60th anniversary of the adored “I Love Lucy” TV show. Staring the legendary Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz, which first aired on this day (October 15th), in 1951 -

The show was filmed in front of a live audience, they filmed the show with three cameras at once rather than one, which at that time was rare for sitcom TV. The director was able to call for multiple retakes for the same scene (which would have been difficult with a live audience watching).Even when the actors would mess up their lines, there most likely wasn't a retake - instead, everyone played off the mistake for extra laughs. “I Love Lucy” was the most-watched show of its time.
This smash hit ended its successful run at the top of the ratings and ended up winning five Emmy Awards!
'FUN FACT!'... The "I Love Lucy" show is still being rerun all over the world - AND forty million people in the U.S. still watch it every year! This is one show thats legacy will live on forever.

A Piece Of Brit...

I purchased this amazing Britney Spears stage warn costume during an online charity auction benefiting the ‘Britney Spears Foundation.’ A musically inspired based camp for underprivileged children. The costume made especially for Britney’s “Dream Within A Dream” world tour is a pure masterpiece! The custom costume was Designed by fashion duo, D’Squared! The garment is a sexy & edgy ensemble which was worn while performing the grand finally song, “…Baby One More Time” . This masterpiece consist of - Acid washed jeans with plastic (almost like rain coat material) & golden leather detailing gives Brit a chance to show off her utterly amazing body. With a matching denim halter top (leaving the midriff exposed). The denim getup adorned fabulous intricate blue, periwinkle, & lavender-purple tone sequins. Topping the look off with a clear cowboy hat adorned with gold detailing. Stunning aquatic looking custom made Diesel kicks completes this dramatic & proactive costume. The D’Squared creation was a stunner for the closer of the show. In the performance Britney came out onto the stage while rain pored from the ceiling of the stadium, onto Britney and the rest of the stage. Dramatic and festive pyrotechnics, stage flying, and intense dance moves completely matched this crazy amazing stage costume.
